A 19-year-old has been killed in crash on the A36 in south Wiltshire, police say.
Emergency services responded to a single-vehicle road traffic collision south of Salisbury in the early hours of Thursday morning (9 July).
A car, of which the make and model has not been confirmed, left the carriageway between Whaddon and Brickworth Corner at around 5.30am.
The driver – a 19-year-old man – sustained significant injuries and died at the scene. Wiltshire Police confirmed that his next of kin has been informed.
“Our thoughts are with them at this time”, a force spokesperson said.
They added: “Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage are asked to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log 050 of today’s date (09/07).
