A huge barn was damaged after a Land Rover caught fire on a Wiltshire farm.
Fire crews responded to reports of a blaze off Queen Manor Road, Laverstock, at around 2.40am this morning (Saturday).
On arrival, firefighters found a Land Rover Defender “well alight” – immediately starting to battle the flames as they spread to the barn the vehicle was stored in.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Salisbury On-Call crew were first in attendance to reports of a barn fire in Laverstock. With assistance from Salisbury wholetime & Wilton.
“Upon arrival, crews discovered a Land Rover Defender well alight inside a barn, with the fire having spread to the building itself.
“Crews quickly got to work to tackle the fire and prevent further spread.
“A challenging incident that required a swift response and effective firefighting operations.”
