A former Swindon Advertiser journalist has been charged with a child cruelty.
Daniel Wood is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on Tuesday (9 June).
He faces one count of causing or procuring a child to be assaulted, ill treated, neglected, abandoned or exposed in a manner likely to cause her unnecessary suffering or injury to health.
The offence relates to an incident which is alleged to have occurred in November 2025.
The 35-year-old award-winning journalist, of Ashbury Avenue, left his Digital Audience and Content Editor role at the Swindon Advertiser in recent weeks.
