Firefighters are currently working to rescue a deer from a river in Salisbury.
Specialist water rescue firefighters are devising a plan to access and recover the animal from the river behind Tesco in Castle Street.
The fire service’s Fire Safety Protection Team took to social media to inform the public about the reason for an increased emergency service presence in the area.
