A woman has been arrested after wiping out an electricity pole in a crash in Pewsey.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in Wilcot Road, near Pewsey Cemetery, shortly after 11am on Sunday morning (22 March).
A black Ford Focus struck and destroyed two wooden planters outside a house before hitting an electricity pole – snapping and moving around one metre.

The 52-year-old female driver of the Ford left the scene. Officers attended her home address, where she allegedly failed to provide to provide a sample of breath.
As such, she was arrested. She was taken to hospital as a precaution, but Wiltshire Police confirmed that there were not serious injuries.
The pole remained upright and attached to the electricity cables following the collision.
A fire crew from Ludgershall attended the incident, making the scene safe. SSE were informed and attended to carry out repair work.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours.
