A Swindon entrepreneur is facing jail over the sexual abuse of a young victim.

Kyle Holmes, who founded the successful web agency Black Nova Designs, has been charged with 12 sex offences relating to a teenage girl in 2025.

The allegations were made when the defendant was out of the country. It’s understood that he was arrested at an airport, on his arrival back into the UK.

At Swindon Crown Court on Friday (13 March), he pleaded guilty to seven of the 12 charges.

The offences admitted include:

• Engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 (x4)

• Causing or inciting a girl aged 13 to engage in sexual activity (x3)

Not guilty pleas to five other charges are being considered by the Crown Prosecution Service, and may proceed to trial on the remaining counts. A decision is due within 14 days.

The defendant, of Eider Avenue in Lyneham, has been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing at the same court on 24 April.

Judge Townsend told him to expect a prison sentence.

Holmes resigned as a Director of Black Nova Designs after the investigation into this crimes was launched late last year.

The business continues to trade, with his wife taking sole charge.

Victims of sexual crimes have the right to lifelong anonymity. It is an imprisonable criminal offence to share any piece of information that could lead to their identification.
