A man has been rushed to hospital after a ‘serious welfare incident’ in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the Caradon Walk area of Redhouse at around midday on Sunday (8 February).
Local residents reported seeing numerous police vehicles in attendance alongside an ambulance and two ambulance cars.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that 999 crews had responded to a “welfare concern”, with one man taken to hospital for “appropriate support”.
The force spokesperson said that nobody was injured and there were no arrests.
South Western Ambulance Service told Wiltshire 999s that “one double-crewed land ambulance, an operations officer, and a rapid response vehicle” were dispatched.
One patient was taken to the Great Western Hospital, a spokesperson confirmed.
