A car overturned in an early morning crash on the east Wiltshire border.
Emergency services raced to reports of the road traffic collision on the B4192 in the Chilton Foliat area at around 2.40am today (Wednesday).
A small light-coloured car overturned in the incident, sparking a 999 response – with firefighters from Ramsbury dispatched to the scene.
One casualty was treated, and reportedly taken to hospital for further care. No serious injuries are thought to have been sustained.
In an update earlier, a spokesperson for Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 2:40am on Wednesday, 11 February, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on the B4192 in Hungerford.
“One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hungerford Fire Station was sent to the scene, alongside one crew from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
“Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one car.
“Crews made the scene safe, before placing one person in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. The scene was then handed over to Thames Valley Police.”
The road, between Aldbourne and Hungerford, was closed for around two hours while the incident was dealt with.
