The dad of a teenage girl inadvertently involved in a crash during a police chase on the A350 says his daughter has serious injuries.
The innocent 14-year-old was travelling in a Volkswagen Caravelle with her family when it was struck by a fleeing BMW near Lacock on Sunday (1 February).
Emergency services raced to the scene as members of the public rushed to help. The young victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

This morning (Monday), her dad told Wiltshire 999s that she sustained “multiple fractures, substantial organs damage and internal bleeding”.
He says his daughter is currently being treated on the High Dependency Unit at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
The four other occupants of the Caravelle are said to have sustained minor injuries.

At the time, Wiltshire Police described the girl’s injuries as “minor”. The force has been contacted for an update on her condition.
They previously confirmed that the male driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drug driving.
