A Swindon man has been arrested after allegedly stalking and threatening to kill a woman over the Christmas period.
Michael Harris has been charged with four offences – and has been remanded in police custody following questioning on Wednesday (31 December).
The 26-year-old, of Lyndhurst Crescent in Park North, is accused assaulting the woman by beating her on 28 November.
He’s also alleged to have threatened to kill her and set fire to her home on Christmas Eve.
It’s claimed Harris stalked the woman, putting her in fear of violence, between 27 November and 31 December 2025.
The charge states he had repeatedly called, messaged and turned up where the woman was.
The defendant will is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday).
