A biker has miraculously escaped major injuries in a smash on Christmas Eve.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A429 near Malmesbury shortly before 9am this morning (Wednesday).
The incident involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a silver Mazda 2 at the junction for Grange Lane.

Paramedics treated the rider of the bike, a man aged in his 20s, for multiple injuries.
His injuries were understood to be serious, but are not significant. He was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that no arrests were made in connection with the crash.
The road was closed in both directions while 999 crews worked and recovery of the vehicles involved took place. It reopened at around 10.30am.
