Police are hunting a hit and run driver who left a cyclist with a ‘broken neck’.
Emergency services were called to the B4508 between Highworth and Watchfield, near Swindon, at around 9.10am on Saturday morning (6 December).
A cyclist, a man aged in his 50s, was knocked off his bicycle – and the vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene.
He sustained fractures to his neck and back, with Wiltshire Police describing the injuries as “potentially life-changing”.
A force spokesperson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area.
“We would also like to trace the driver of a white Toyota Aygo, which was in the area at the time.
“We believe they may have information that could assist our enquiries.
