A Warminster woman has been charged after a cyclist was seriously injured in a crash.
Claire Parry is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (2 December).
The 52-year-old, of Pepper Place, faces a charge of causing serious injury by careless driving.
It follows a road traffic collision in Bratton near Westbury – whereby cyclist Andrew Jefferies sustained a leg injury after being hit by a Ford KA.
At the time, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.”
South Western Ambulance Service confirmed that the patient was conveyed to the Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
