A Wiltshire woman has sent a “massive F U” to the victim in an XL Bully attack case after she was found guilty and sentenced.

Chelsea Reason was convicted of being in charge of the dangerous dog – named Karma – while it was out of control and caused injury to a woman in West Overton, near Marlborough.

The 26-year-old, of Sheep Street, Devizes, was fined £300 and ordered to pay a £120 surcharge at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 12 November.

Due to her lack of means, the court refused Wiltshire Police’s application for £18,500 in kennel fees for Karma while seized. Instead, the taxpayer will pick up the bill.

But now, following her conviction and sentencing, Reason took to Facebook to verbally abuse the woman who was injured by Karma in the incident.

In a public post with photos of her pet, she wrote: “After 600 days in the kennels and endless court adjournments, today was the day we were told you’d be allowed home.

“massive F U to the b***h that reported Karma – but my babies finally get their baby back”.

Karma was returned to Reason following the court case. However, strict rules must be followed to avoid the dog being seized and put to sleep.

The conditions of a contingent destruction order include that the pet must be neutered or spayed, microchipped, muzzled and kept on a lead in all public places.

The dog must only be handled in public by someone aged over sixteen, and the owner must maintain valid third party insurance.

The order also states that Karma will be destroyed within two months unless an exemption certificate is obtained from the Index of Exempted Dogs.
