A Swindon man has been charged with strangling a woman in a ‘domestic’ assault.
Shaun Burrows pleaded not guilty to two offences arising out of an incident on 23 October.
The defendant, of Sudeley Way, Grange Park, was arrested and remanded in police custody, appearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 25 October.
The 48-year-old denied offences of assault by beating and intentional strangulation on the same woman and a trial date was set. He was released on bail.
A hearing is due to take place at Swindon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (20 November).
