A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with a car on a busy route in Salisbury.
Emergency services were called to the A36 Wilton Road, at Quidhampton, at around 11.10am on Sunday morning (16 November).
A Kawasaki ZX motorcycle travelling towards Wilton was involved in a collision with a Skoda Enyaq which was turning from Quidhampton onto the A36.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 20s, was declared deceased at the scene.
“His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed.
Adding: “The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment for reportedly minor injuries.
“No arrests have been made. The road was closed to allow for enquiries to take place and has since reopened.
