Police release CCTV after man is attacked with dog chain in west Swindon shop

A man’s been attacked with a dog chain while inside a shop in west Swindon.

Police have released a CCTV image of the man wanted in connection with the assault at Tesco at Shaw Village Centre off Ramleaze Drive at around 12.30pm on Saturday 14 April.

The victim, a man in his 20s, didn’t suffer any serious injuries.

A police spokesperson said: “He is described as white, of medium build, 5’7 tall with short black hair; he was wearing a white/blue baseball cap, short jeans and a leopard print coat.

“A picture of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with this incident is attached.

“If you recognise this man please call us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
