A Wiltshire man has been killed in a tractor crash on the A417 near Gloucester.
Emergency services responded to reports of a road traffic collision on the major route in Witcombe at around 2.30pm on Thursday (16 October).
Gloucestershire Constabulary confirmed that the incident involved a single vehicle – a tractor.
The driver, a man aged in his 20s and from Wiltshire, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A force spokesperson said: “His next of kin are aware and being supported by specially trained officers.
“Road closures remain in place from the bottom of Old Birdlip Hill at the A435 Cirencester Road in Little Witcombe and on Ermin Way in Brockworth.
“These are expected to remain in place overnight and into tomorrow (Friday) with motorists asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
“Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
“Information can be submitted to police by completing the following online form and quoting incident 284 of 16 October.
