A man has been seriously assaulted at a shop in Swindon – with three arrests made.
Emergency services were called to an incident at the Premier store in Alton Close, Penhill, shortly before 4pm on Sunday afternoon (28 September).
A man, aged in his 30s, sustained serious injuries in an attack. He was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Three people were arrested in connection with the assault – however, two of them have since been released with no further action.
A 34-year-old man arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent has been bailed while the investigation continue.
A crime scene was put in place for several hours, with the shop closed to the public.
The victim’s injures are not being described as life-threatening or life-changing.
