Detectives are investigating the rape of a woman at a hotel in Swindon town centre.
Police were called to the Travelodge in Princes Street on Thursday 11 September.
A 20-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of rape, theft and criminal damage.
Following an interview in custody, he was released on bail; the investigation continues.
Forensic work was undertaken at the scene of the alleged crime, with the room taped off as a crime scene for several hours.
