An air ambulance has touched down at the scene of a crash near Westbury.
Emergency services were called to the A350 Warminster Road, just south of Chalford, at around 6pm this evening (Thursday).
The incident is believed to involve a car and a motorcycle near Madbrook Farm.
Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance landed in a nearby field, as critical care medics from the charity raced to provide urgent treatment.
Further details are unclear – but the road is closed in both directions between Old Dilton Road and Upton Scudamore.
It could remain shut for some hours. Motorists should seek alternative routes.
