Police have raided a Malmesbury home and arrested a suspected drug dealer.
Officers forced entry into a house in Hudson Road early this morning (Monday).
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that the drugs warrant was obtained “following intelligence from the local community”.

During a search of the property, “a small amount of a controlled drug was located”.
The suspect, a man aged in his 50s, was arrested at the scene and taken into the back of a police cell van.
He was held there while officers conducted enquiries inside the address.

He was taken to custody, where he was held on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug.
The force has not confirmed which drug was found during the operation.

Two members of staff from the housing association GreenSquareAccord were also present, providing assistance to officers on scene.
